The company Arrelia
In 2007, the company Arrelia was created. The company name comes from the word "Arrels" which means "root" in Catalan. Matthieu Blanc is a former clinic director who bet that many elderly people are independent and can continue to manage their homes on a daily basis. This is how the concept of Senior Service Residences was created and is perfectly suited to active people who do not want to join a traditional retirement home.
The expansion of the company
The group is expanding with the creation of other service residences for seniors in Perpignan and in Lormont near Bordeaux. In 2014, the Résidence Cœur Comédie in Montpellier was created on the same concept as the Mas des Arcades, adjoining a hotel.
Oc’Santé
Two years ago, Arrelia joined forces with the Oc’Santé group. The latter has been developing experience in the health sector and medico-social establishments for several generations. This group includes around twenty establishments. Oc’Santé improves our group’s services through its know-how and its network.
